This page is a directory to help a foreign patient who is receiving or planning dental treatment in Türkiye reach official sources. This site recommends no clinic and no intermediary. The list points only to government and professional bodies, and says what each does and does not do: the body that issues authorisation certificates is not the one that takes complaints, which is not the one that publishes statistics or gives professional discipline.

Useful bodies in your own country
These do not supervise treatment in Türkiye. They are for preparation and general information, and depend on which country you travel from.
| Country | Source | What for |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | GDC: “Going abroad for dental treatment” page; NHS: checklist for treatment abroad; TravelHealthPro: travelling for treatment | Checklists, rights, risks of treatment abroad |
| United States | CDC: Medical Tourism; CDC Yellow Book; OSAP “Traveler's Guide to Safe Dental Care”; US State Department “Your Health Abroad” | Infection, clots, records, follow-up; questions on infection control in a dental clinic |
| EU countries | National contact point (NCP) under the EU cross-border healthcare directive | For treatment within the EU. Türkiye is not an EU member, so NCP rights do not apply to treatment in Türkiye |
| Other countries | Your own country's health ministry, consumer agency and consulate | Legal and administrative support |

How this directory is kept current
- Links are checked every three months. A link that stops working, moves or changes address is updated, and a “last checked” date is added.
- If a body's remit changes (for example the authorisation lookup page or a complaint channel), the related pages are updated together.
- This site is not an official body and has no connection to the organisations listed. The list is for information only. For definite information about your own situation, contact the relevant body.
Frequently asked questions
Do all these bodies serve foreign patients?
Not all of them may serve in English. The International Patient Support Unit offers interpreting in six languages. For the others, ask the support unit for help with language.
Which body gives me legal advice?
These bodies provide information and administrative routes. For legal advice, consult a lawyer.
Is there an official “approved clinics” list?
The HealthTürkiye portal lists authorised providers and intermediaries. That is authorisation information, not a quality ranking (see the verification page).
I checked the organisation's authorisation. Is that enough?
No. Authorisation shows legal permission. Ask separately about the treatment plan, consent, alternatives, materials, guarantee and follow-up (see the pages on each).
