dentaltourism.guide is an independent, English-language information site for people considering dental treatment abroad. It uses Türkiye as its worked example. It is not a clinic, an agency, a directory or an official body, and it gives information, not medical or legal advice.
Editorial content is not for sale. No clinic pays for coverage, rankings or listings, and we take no referral fees.
What this site is, and is not
It is
- A set of plain-language guides on rights, verification, risks, aftercare and data.
- Built on official sources first, with weaker sources labelled as secondary.
It is not
- A list or ranking of clinics, agencies or dentists.
- A booking, referral or lead-generation service.
- Medical or legal advice, or an official body of any government.
- A place to make a patient complaint (see the complaints guide).
How independence is protected
- No paid coverage. A clinic cannot buy a mention, a review, a ranking or a “sponsored guide”.
- No referral fees. We do not earn a commission when a reader contacts or books with any provider.
- No endorsement. An authorisation certificate is not a quality ranking.
- Conflicts are disclosed. If the site's funding changes in a way readers should know about, this page says so.
How we use sources
- Official first.Legislation, ministry and agency pages, statistics offices and regulators.
- Professional and academic next.Professional bodies, peer-reviewed work and recognised guidance.
- Secondary sources are labelled.News, law-firm articles and directories are marked “secondary”, and figures taken from them are shown as “as reported”.
- Commercial sources are marked.Clinic blogs and market reports are labelled “commercial” and never used as official data.
How pages are checked
- Every guide is written from the sources listed at the end of the page. Where sources disagree, the page says so instead of picking one.
- Figures are shown with their source and date, and figures measured in different ways are not added together.
- The guides have not yet been reviewed by a practising dentist or lawyer. When a page has been reviewed, it will show the reviewer's name, qualification and the date of the review.
- Price figures come from quotes that patients send us anonymously. They are published only for groups of at least ten quotes.
- Nothing on this site is medical or legal advice. Talk to a licensed dentist about your own teeth.
Corrections and updates
- Each guide shows the month it was last updated.
- If we find that a figure or statement was wrong, we correct it and add a dated correction note.
- Links and official contact details are re-checked every three months.
- To report an error, write to us. Please give the page, the statement and a source.
Privacy notice
This site does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Last updated 2 November 2026.
- Who runs this site
- dentaltourism.guide is run by Daphne Software LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. For any privacy question, write to hello@dentaltourism.guide.
- No third parties on the page
- Fonts, scripts and images all load from this site. Your browser does not contact Google, social networks or advertising services when you read a guide.
- Hosting and server logs
- The site is hosted by GoDaddy on servers in the European Union (France). To deliver a page, the web server receives your IP address and basic technical details such as the time, the page requested and your browser type, and writes them to a log. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working. We do not use them to identify, profile or track visitors. The logs are deleted automatically, at the latest two months after your visit.
- Anonymous quote form
- The quote form asks only multiple-choice questions about a dental price quote. It stores no name, email, IP address, cookie, exact date or clinic name, so no answer can be linked to the person who sent it. Answers are published only as group figures.
- Checklists
- The tick-boxes in checklists are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us, and you can clear them by clearing your browser data.
- If you email us
- We receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply, do not add you to any list and delete them when the matter is closed, at the latest after 12 months. Please do not send patient or health information. Email sent to our address is forwarded to and stored in a Google (Gmail) mailbox. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- No selling, no sharing
- We do not sell or share personal data. We do not use it for marketing.
- Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by writing to hello@dentaltourism.guide. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
- Changes
- If we ever start collecting personal data, for example an optional email check on the quote form, we will update this notice before that feature goes live.
